BOARD OF DIRECTOR

Ava Armstrong is a senior leader and board director with extensive experience in strategy, governance, stakeholder engagement, marketing, and cross-functional leadership. During her career in the pharmaceutical industry, she held senior leadership roles across marketing, market access, reimbursement strategy, sales management, and international business, developing a strong track record of turning strategy into action and bringing diverse stakeholders together around shared goals.

Ava has increasingly focused her time and energy on sustainability, food security, and community impact. She holds the Chartered Director (C. Dir.) designation from The Directors College at McMaster University and has completed a Sustainability Micro-Accreditation focused on the UN Sustainable Development Goals, ESG, and the circular economy.

As a Director of Action Against Hunger Canada, Ava brings strategic insight, collaborative leadership, and a deep commitment to helping organizations create meaningful and sustainable impact.
