Crisis in Lebanon
Over the past few weeks, escalating conflict in Lebanon has led to a deepening humanitarian crisis across the region.
Innocent civilians, including children, have tragically lost their lives, and over a million people have been forced to flee their homes with few belongings.
Panic is spreading rapidly. People are without shelter, food, and clean water.
Our teams have been working in Lebanon since 2006 and are now quickly scaling up efforts to reach those most affected by the violence.
To help get more aid to people in need, the Government of Canada has announced a donation match for Action Against Hunger and our Humanitarian Coalition partners responding to the emergency in Lebanon. From today until November 3rd, every dollar donated will be matched up to a maximum of $3 million.
If you can, please make an emergency donation today.
Your donation will go twice as far to help provide food, clean water and hygiene items to families in need.
