Gaza Crisis Appeal
Since its independence in 1980, Zimbabwe has experienced a tense political environment and an unstable economy. High rates of malnutrition, alarming rates of HIV/AIDS, cyclones, and frequent cholera outbreaks are huge humanitarian challenges.
Zimbabwe continues to face poor harvests, high food prices and lingering socio-economic effects of the COVID-19 pandemic, which have exacerbated food insecurity.
Action Against Hunger takes a holistic approach to helping families cope with disaster in Zimbabwe. We protect livelihoods, increase and improve access to clean water, and provide sustainable sources of food and income. We integrate HIV/AIDS education and treatment into of our nutrition programs.
