Sowing seeds against hunger

The seed sale is a fundraising initiative that allows students to gain an understanding of our fieldwork. ACF helps communities to create their own herb and vegetable gardens to provide sustainable solutions to malnutrition. Through this activity, students become aware of the importance of implementing long term solutions to hunger so that communities are not dependent on humanitarian aid and can develop their own means of subsistence.

The herb seeds can be sown outdoors or indoors in pots. Herbs such as basil, cilantro, parsley, mint, and chives … are available for sale to support a great cause.

To make sure this project is successful and easy to organize for the participating schools, we take care of finding partnerships with local seed suppliers. All equipment necessary for the organization of the event such as order forms (printed or online) is provided. Orders will be delivered to the school and distributed by the students.
