Urgent: Help is needed for flooding victims in Pakistan
This is the worst natural disaster to hit Pakistan in decades. Currently, over 1000 people have died, 421,000 have been displaced, 2 million hectors of crops have been destroyed, and 6.4 million people are in urgent need of humanitarian assistance.
Action Against Hunger has initiated our emergency response in Sindh and Balochistan and have begun distributing latrine construction kits to displaced camps. The objective is to avoid any epidemic contagion in a region regularly affected by cholera epidemics.
Donations before September 28th will be matched. As a member of the Humanitarian Coalition, Action Against Hunger, along with 12 other charities, has partnered with the Canadian Government to address this crisis.
The Government of Canada will match donations to our Humanitarian Coalition, up to $3 million, until September 28th.
Join us in standing together against hunger and see your contribution go twice as far.
