Love Food Give Food, running for the months of April and May, is Action Against Hunger’s annual event to unite food lovers with restaurants that are passionate about ending global hunger. This year we’re shining the spotlight on one of our participating restaurants each Wednesday. This week, we’d like to introduce you to Chef Otman from B’Saha! We asked him some questions:
Why does Action Against Hunger matter to you?
Because we believe that as citizen of the world, we need to work together to find a solution to eradicate hunger. This is a cause that is especially important today due to the many conflicts in countries like Syria, Sudan, Somalia… We feel it is especially important now to work together to help find a solution.
What is your Love Food Give Food dish and why did you pick it?
We chose the merguez sandwich because it is our bestseller: it is the item that will raise the most for this cause. Secondly, it is out most prized item. It’s a sausage that we make at the restaurant with the best ingredients possible. We think it captures Moroccan street food culture the best.
Finish this sentence: B’Saha is the best spot for… discovering a new and exciting cuisine and to bring anyone, whether it is a co-worker, a hot date, or your family visiting town!
