A NEW FOCUS ON HUNGER
Action Against Hunger works in more than 50 countries, but often, we’re so focused on saving lives, we sometimes lose sight of what inspires each of us to fight against hunger. We want to change that: we’re launching the first annual Inspire 2018 Photo Contest!
WHAT INSPIRES YOU?
Share a photo that you’ve taken of people, a place or moment in any of the 50+ countries we work in, including Canada, that inspires you to take action against hunger. You could win a flight to anywhere within Canada!
ENTER A PHOTO TODAY!
Here’s what you need to do:
- Pick a photo you’ve taken in one of the 50+ countries in which we work. See the list of countries below, it includes Canada!
- Write a great caption telling us why it inspires you to take action against hunger; it could be anything!. Don’t forget to add #Inspire2018 to your post!
- Post your photo and caption to our #Inspire2018 Facebook event page before Friday, February 23rd! Don’t forget to Like our page!
- You can also submit by publicly posting your submission on Twitter and Instragram, like and tag our account, @ACFcanada, and #Inspire2018!
- You can submit multiple photos, so starting finding your top pics today!
HOW DO YOU WIN?
- A panel of judges will choose the top 25 photos to participate in a public voting round. Those 25 shortlisted entries will be announced on Friday, March 2nd.
- Public voting will take place from Friday, March 2nd to Friday, March 9th, during which anyone can vote for their favourite photos.
- On Friday, March 9th, at 12:00pm EDT, we will announce the winner live on Facebook!
- You can also submit a photo by posting it and your caption on a public Twitter or Instagram account, tagging “@ACFcanada” OR email us your submission to info@actioncontrelafaim.ca
