Impact of Hurricane Eta in Central America
Over 2 million people in Central America are affected by the aftermath of Hurricane Eta, almost 100,000 refugees are in shelters and over 100 people have died.
Our teams are already in several regions in Central America that has been hit the hardest by Hurricane Eta by providing access to clean water, food, care to those who have been left homeless, protection against COVID-19 and other possible outbreaks due to overcrowding.
Even before COVID-19, more than 3.5 million people in Central America needed humanitarian assistance. Now, with the aftermath of Hurricane Eta, the situation has worsened.
Action Against Hunger has been working in vulnerable areas of Central American since 1996, providing the necessities such as clean water, sanitation, and food. Now we need your help more than ever to help us reach as many people as possible that was affected by Hurricane Eta.
Your gift today will help rush aid and emergency supplies to the people suffering in this crisis. Together we can save more lives.
Thank you for your generosity.
