Help families and children survive the pandemic

At Action Against Hunger, we take the threat of COVID-19 very seriously. Our teams in the field are taking all the necessary precautions to prevent the spread of COVID-19 to the communities we serve while ensuring the continuity of our lifesaving programs.

While this pandemic could put a strain on health systems and facilities around the world, we are especially concerned about the long-term impact it could have on poverty and hunger. As the virus continues to spread, it could impact food production and lead to food insecurity.

With so much attention on COVID-19, it is critical for all of us to keep in mind the 5.3 million children under five who die each year worldwide, nearly half from undernutrition. We remain steadfast in our commitment to ensure no child dies from hunger, and more than ever, we need your support to ensure that every child can grow up strong.
